I care deeply about each person that I have the honour to work with. My work is rooted in the belief that we are all capable of healing and finding more comfort and safety in our everyday life.
I have earned my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in the Province of BC. Additionally, I bring 10+ years of experience in working with survivors of trauma and abuse in the non-profit sector. I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based modality for trauma treatment and have successfully completed training to qualify as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I am grateful for the opportunity to live and work on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) peoples - in particular, T’Sou-ke, W̱SÁNEĆ, Esquimalt, Songhees and Sc'ianew Nations. As a therapist, I acknowledge there is an ethical responsibility for helping professionals to participate in dismantling oppressive systems and decolonizing the therapeutic relationship.
